The R-1970 perfectly replicates the classic British Crunch Classic amp tone we all know and love.

The Recording Tube Amp Series offers the best possible interface for recording, live performances, connecting to an audio interface, desk console or PA system. Thanks to its innovative 100% analog VARCAB, it is super versatile when engaged. Not only does it mimic the EQ curve of a guitar cab, it also replicates everything that comes after the preamp, such as the power stage, depth and presence controls as well as the cab variations.

The VARICAB knob allows you to have full control in one single and unified location. You can adjust the feedback exactly like in a traditional tube amp, as well as independently add punch and bottom end when rotated counterclockwise, or air and brightness when rotated clockwise.

The controls available on each amp include full tone stack made exactly like the original model the amp refers to. (V1530 has only BassCut and TrebleCut). You also get a Gain (body) and Volume Control dedicated to the High Voltage Tube Preamp Section + the power amp behavior simulation.

Baroni also proved a buffered FX loop in order to let you add time-based effects after the distortion. It comes with 2 toggle switches on the front panel that let you engage/disengage the VARICAB when you want to connect to your DAW and use your own VST/IR and ground/lift. An additional Main Out (TS Jack) is provided to connect it to the power section of the traditional amp (Return) to be used as just a preamp.
