TAD 7025-WA Highgrade PREMIUM Selected

a low noise, super low microphonic selected  version of the 12AX7 that meets all specifications required for the tube to be designated 7025 and SPAX7®

 

The TAD 7025-WA Highgrade is tested and strictly selected for the lowest noise and microphonics for use in the critical first preamp stages of High-Gain guitar amplifiers where noise and microphonics could be an issue.
The Tube Amp Doctor 7025-WA Highgrade has a balanced tone with anotable emphasis of the mids. The overall linear sound further offers the benefits of great string attack and chord separation. The low end remains well defined. The result is a tone that works well in both modern amps but also vintage guitar amplifiers.

 

If the 7025-WA is used in sensitive phono preamps, the tube adds a musical clarity and presence to the signal.

 

The TAD 7025-WA Highgrade can replace any ECC83, E83CC, ECC803S, 12AX7, 12AX7A, 12AX7M, SPAX7®, 12AX7WA/WB/WC/LPS/EH, 5751, 7025, CV492 and CV4004.

 

Compared to the RT030 and RT010, the RT095-HG shows a little more clarity in the high-mid range. As a result, it asserts itself tonally very well, which is super helpful in a band context.

RT030 has more midrange focus and thus brings more warmth and a little less brilliance and depth definition than the RT010 and RT095-HG.

Due to their tonal structure the RT095-HG and the RT030 are somewhat less sensitive than the RT010 when used in extremely microphonic sensible applications.
