TAD Tube Set for Laney TT20 | Laney Tube Sets

 

In the first position (V1), this tube set features our RT-7025 TAD REDBASE 7025/E83CC HIGHGRADE, an outstanding tube because of its high gain, but low microphony, powerful middles and a round, rich overtone sound. Played clean, the TAD REDBASE 7025/E83CC delivers a warm liquid tone which is very responsive to dynamic playing.

 

For the following position (V2), we recommend our RT003 12AX7A/ECC83 TAD Premium Selected. It is selected for the big & warm clean sounds and reacts with a mellow top-end, when pushed to overdrive. It is our recommendation if you are seeking to reduce brightness and want to emphasize punchy mids. It works especially greatly, when pushed to a fat overdrive.

 

The following third position (V3) uses our RT003 12AX7A/ECC83  TAD Premium Selected. This tube delivers very good gain, tight deep bass, fat mids and a silky top end with overall definition and brightness. It is selected with balanced systems and improves overall response. It works best for clean tones, as well as for sounds requiring deep-bass power like any modern preamp.

 

The power tube section features a matched pair of our RT272 TAD-EL84-Cz Premium Matchedwith high-class cathode coating, plate options and gold grid wire, and therefore overall reliability. The sound is very harmonic in the middle and treble frequencies, without adding too much power to the bass. The result is the best EL84 in current production.

 

Please specify the grading of the tubes which is visible on the socket (Grade Number #), If you tell us the number on the small sticker we can supply the adequate spares without the need of rebiasing the amp.
