Tubeset for Kitty Hawk Junior Pro

 

The tubeset features our RT-7025 TAD REDBASE 7025/E83CC HIGHGRADE in the first position (V1). This valve is outstanding because of its high gain, but low microphony, powerful middles and round, rich overtone sound.

 

For the following position (V2), we recommend the RT003 12AX7A/ECC83  TAD Premium Selected which provides a stunning warm tone, thick midrange and sweet natural harmonics. Its low noise performance makes it the perfect choice for clean or moderate gain preamps as well as for high-gain amps.

 

The following third position (V3) usea our RT003 12AX7A/ECC83  TAD Premium Selected. This tube delivers very good gain, tight deep bass, fat mids and a silky top end with overall definition and brightness. It is selected with balanced systems and improves overall response. It works best for clean tones, as well as for sounds requiring deep-bass power like any modern preamp.

 

In V4, we use our special Phase Driver selected RT003 12AX7A/ECC83  TAD Premium Selected Selection.

 

For the power tubes, we use only a matched pair of our sensational RT122 EL34-STR REDBASE TAD Premium Matched. These very dynamic tubes are an authentic remake of the British Mullard EL34. The clear and harmonic open top end allows for great clean tone and at the same time, the TAD EL34-STR REDBASE offers incredibly powerful mids and equally powerful bass. The golden control grid and especially large cooling grids guarantee maximum stability and reliability. Consequently, this EL34 provides a maximum of gain and dynamic response.
