In the first position (V1), this tube set features our RT-7025 TAD REDBASE 7025/E83CC HIGHGRADE which is outstanding because of its high gain but low microphony, powerful middles and a round, rich overtone sound.

 

For the second position (V2), we recommend our RT003 12AX7A/ECC83  TAD Premium Selected. This tube delivers very good gain, tight, deep bass, fat mids and a silky top end with overall definition and brightness.

 

The following two positions (V3, V4) have our RT003 12AX7A/ECC83 TAD Premium Selected. This tube delivers very good gain, tight, deep bass, fat mids and a silky top end with overall definition and brightness. It is selected with balanced systems and improves overall response. Best for clean tones, as well as for sounds requiring deep-bass power like any modern preamp.

 

In V5 we have our phase-driver-selected RT003.

 

For the power tubes, we only use a matched pair of  RT122 EL34-STR REDBASE TAD Premium Matched.  Their clear and harmonic open top end allows for great clean tone and at the same time, the TAD EL34-STR REDBASE offer incredibly powerful mids and equally powerful bass.

 Consequently, this EL34 provides a maximum of gain and dynamic response.

With the proposed set you will get the full, clean sound and the typical Marshall crunch with defined highs and a creamy lead sound which stays tight even at higher settings.
