Tubeset for Mesa Boogie Studio 22, 22+

 

This tube set features our RT030 7025/E83CC HIGHGRADE TAD Premium Selected in the first and second position (V1, V2). This tube serves as the foundation for warm clean sounds with punchy mids and a fat overdrive sound with a smooth top end.

 

The following three positions have our RT003 12AX7A/ECC83 TAD Premium Selected. This tube delivers very good gain, tight deep bass, fat mids and a silky top end with overall definition and brightness. It is selected with balanced systems and improves overall response. Best for clean tones as well as for sounds requiring deep-bass power like any modern preamp.

 

For the power tubes, we choose a matched pair of our RT272 TAD-EL84-Cz Premium Matched with high-class cathode coating, plate options and gold grid wire, and therefore overall reliability. The sound is very harmonic in the middle and treble frequencies, without adding too much power to the bass. The result is the best EL84 in current production.

Please specify the grading of the tubes which is visible on the socket of the original Boogie labeled tubes. Remark the color-code in the comment field during check-out and we will supply the adequate spares to operate at same setting as your old tubes without rebiasing the amp.  This service is provided at no extra charge.
