Tubeset for Peavey Delta Blues

 

In the first position (V1), this tube set features our RT-7025 TAD REDBASE 7025/E83CC HIGHGRADE which is outstanding because of its high gain, but low microphony, powerful middles and a round, rich overtone sound. Played clean, the TAD REDBASE 7025/E83CC delivers a warm liquid tone which is very responsive to dynamic playing.

 

The following two positions (V2, V3) have our RT003 12AX7A/ECC83 TAD Premium Selected. This tube delivers very good gain, tight deep bass, fat mids and a silky top end with overall definition and brightness. It is selected with balanced systems and improves overall response. Best for clean tones, as well as for sounds requiring deep-bass power like any modern preamp.

 

For the power tubes, we chose a matched quartet of our RT274 EL84-Cz TAD PREMIUM Matched with high-class cathode coating, plate options and gold grid wire, and therefore overall reliability. The sound is very harmonic in the middle and treble frequencies, without adding too much power to the bass. The result is the best EL84 in current production.
