The input tube for the brillinat and normal channel (V4) for this tube set is our RT-7025 TAD REDBASE 7025/E83CC HIGHGRADE which is outstanding because of its high gain, but low microphony, powerful middles and a round, rich overtone sound.

 

Apart from the Vibrato/Tremolo, any other Pre-Amp position (V1, V2, V5) uses our RT003 12AX7A/ECC83  TAD Premium Selected. This tube delivers very good gain, tight deep bass, fat mids and a silky top end with overall definition and brightness. It is selected with balanced systems and improves overall response. It works best for clean tones, as well as for sounds requiring deep-bass power like any modern preamp.

 

Our RT005 12AU7A / ECC82 TAD Premium Selected is the perfect choice for the Tremolo/Vibrato position (V3) - great musical performance, delivering a rich tone!

 

For the power tubes, our RT274 TAD-EL84STR power tube quad with its high-class cathode coating, plate options and gold grid wire improve overall reliability work best for the AC30. The sound is very harmonic in the middle and treble frequencies, without adding too much power to the bass. The result is the best EL84 in current production. No compromise!

 

For the rectifier tube, we recommend our RT501 GZ34/5AR4-STR TAD Premium Selected, a faithfull reproduction of the Mullard/VALVO GZ34. Its pure power and typical sag have been the distinguishing characteristics of the most popular guitar amps of guitar heroes since the 1960s.
