6CC42 TESLA (= 2C51, 5670, 396A)  NOS

The TESLA 6CC42 is the ideal upgrade for the 6N3P used in many Russian and Chinese hi-fi audio amplifiers. The TESLA 6CC42 is considered, along with the Bendix and Tung Sol 2C51, to be the best version of the 2C51=WE396a design and is on a par with the almost priceless Western Electric WE396a.

In stock we currently have mostly the older square getter type from 1950s and early 60s and a few halo-getter mostly from later 60s or 1970s (yellow print marks). For matched pair we pick similar contruction within each pair.
