In 1989, Paiste launched the Signature Series, using a bronze alloy specifically created for cymbal sound. The sonic energy of “Signature Alloy” enabled Paiste to create cymbals with previously unknown qualities, featuring rich, full, and expressive sounds, ranging from delicate and sensitive to potent and powerful. Paiste followed up on this fundamental event in the cymbal world with the creation of two additional series using Signature Alloy, the “Signature Traditionals” in 1996 and the “Signature Dark Energy” in 2004.Collectively, over the past three decades, Signature Cymbals have defined the sound of numerous legendary drummers and have been passionately received by the world-wide drumming community, gathering critical acclaim in the process.
